Dear Catholic School Families and Friends,
The Covid-19 Pandemic certainly made the 2020-21 school year one of many challenges! We knew our number one priority had to be getting students in the classroom, despite the restrictions such as social distancing and additional sanitizing placed on the schools. Through the heroic effort of our administrators, teachers, and staff, we are proud to say we were able to offer in-person instruction in all 21 of our schools to all who desired it.
Students experienced an "almost normal" year through daily prayer and liturgical events, social interaction, academics, service projects, and athletic events (including some championships!). Our strength as faith-filled schools was so evident as we partnered with our parents and communities to offer the best possible educational environment for our children.
I cannot praise enough the efforts of our administrators, teachers, and school staff during these unprecedented times. They continually worked to address the academic and social-emotional needs of the students that went along with the isolation and disconnectedness of the last year as well as continued to integrate and utilize technology to bring the classroom to their students who needed to learn remotely.
Thank you for supporting and trusting our Catholic schools to provide your students with an outstanding education for life and learning! We take this responsibility very seriously and are happy to be partners with you in your child's faith and educational journey.
Sincerely,
Margaret Erich
